Along with a quality photo, the accompanying text can list the provider’s educational background, publishing history, professional associations and any personal history that may be desired. Personal/professional anecdotes sometimes help to greater personalize the biographical tone of this page.
If you have more than one provider in the practice, you’ll want to use a Portal Page. The name of each provider is presented below their photo, both of which are live links to the individual provider’s page.
You’ll find that visitors are much more comfortable choosing a new provider when they can see what they look like ahead of time. Another popular feature of the provider page is to add a photo of that provider “in action” – talking to a patient, looking at an X-ray, etc.
You may also want to consider a Staff Page, where you can show a photograph of your office staff, and describe some of the many things they do for your patients (and maybe even feature an important staff member each month or so).
